Description
The Mayflower Bakery was down at the bottom of Logan Street, but it faced Fifth Avenue. Wonderful aromas invited you into the bakery as soon as you opened the door. I loved getting a cookie, but my eyes wandered to the windows near the ceiling. I was fascinated by the fact that all you could see were peoples’ legs and shoes walking up Logan Street. I held on to this visual memory for a lifetime.
